We are happy to announce a new virtual interview program called “The Textile Museum Journal Interview Series”. The program will repeat every year featuring interviews conducted with current year’s “The Textile Museum Journal” authors. First set of interviews will take place throughout February and several of the authors featured in the fall 2020 The Textile Museum Journal (Vol. 47, COLOR) will discuss the importance of recent advances in dye analysis, the value of collaborative, interdisciplinary research, and the multiple roles that a study of color can play in understanding a textile and shedding light on its historical and cultural context.
