Sometimes you find something special when you don‘t expect it. In the deepest Burgenland (Austria), near Castle Forchtenstein with the Esterházy Kunstkammer, one of the last „Blueprinters“ (indigo) is situated in a small town called Steinberg. If you ever come to this area it‘s worth to visit the Koó workshop (you should call the owner in advance) not only because blueprint is part of the UNESCO world cultural heritage. Since 1921 the Koó family devotes to this craft and keeps the tradition alive.
