Dear colleagues,

some of you may know that I have been awarded a Fellowship at the Metropolitan Museum to study medieval embroideries. At weekends I have some time to stroll around and to discover new things and exhibitions in New York. Therefore I have an advice for all of you who will spend the Easter days in New York. Don’t miss the exhibition “Fabric in Fashion” at the Museum at FIT (until May 4, 2019) and of course “The Secret Life of Textiles: The Milton Sonday Archive” (last chance to visit this exhibition at the Antonio Ratti Textile Center, Metropolitan Museum of Art, as it will close on May 5, 2019).
